  • How long should I expect my treatment to last?
Most treatments provide protection for 30 to 90 days, depending on the type of pest, the severity of the issue, and environmental conditions. For ongoing prevention, we recommend regular service visits—monthly or quarterly—based on your specific needs. Your technician will recommend a treatment plan that ensures lasting protection.
  • Are these chemicals safe around my kids and/or pets at home?
Yes—your family’s safety is our top priority. We use EPA-registered products that are applied by trained professionals in accordance with safety guidelines. Once dry, treatments are generally safe for children and pets. Your technician will let you know if any special precautions are needed based on the type of treatment used.
  • How long do I need to stay out of the treated areas?
We recommend staying out of treated areas for at least 2–4 hours after service, depending on the type of treatment used. This allows the products to dry completely and ensures maximum effectiveness and safety. Your technician will provide specific instructions based on the treatment and area of your home or business.
  • My house was treated for bed bugs. How long until i can reenter the home?
You should wait at least 4 to 6 hours before reentering your home after a bed bug treatment. This allows the products to settle and dry properly for safety and effectiveness. Your technician will provide specific reentry guidelines based on the treatment method used—especially if heat or fumigation was involved. Always follow the instructions given at the time of service.
  • What does basic Yard-Guard cover?
Basic Yard-Guard provides seasonal outdoor pest protection for your yard and perimeter. This includes treatment for common pests such as ants, ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes. The service creates a protective barrier around your property to help reduce pest activity and prevent them from entering your home. Coverage details may vary slightly based on your location and property needs—your technician will explain what’s included during your initial visit.
  • How do I know if I have a pest problem?
Signs of a pest problem include droppings, gnaw marks, nests, damaged food packaging, or unusual noises and odors. If you notice any of these, it’s best to schedule an inspection for early detection and treatment.
  • Do I need to leave my home during treatment?
For most general treatments, you don’t need to leave your home. However, for certain pests or more intensive services (like bed bugs or fleas), temporary evacuation may be recommended. Your technician will provide clear instructions beforehand.
  • Will I see pests after the treatment?
It’s common to see increased pest activity for a few days after treatment as pests are flushed out of hiding. This means the treatment is working. Activity should decrease significantly within a week or two.
  • How often should I schedule pest control services?
For ongoing protection, we recommend monthly or quarterly services, depending on your location, property type, and the pests being targeted. One-time treatments are also available for specific infestations.
  • What types of pests do you treat?
We treat a wide range of pests including ants, roaches, spiders, mosquitoes, termites, rodents, fleas, ticks, bed bugs, and more. We offer specialized plans based on the type of infestation and your environment.
  • Can I combine indoor and outdoor treatments?
Absolutely. Many of our service plans include both interior and exterior treatments to offer complete protection. You can customize your plan based on your needs and property layout.
  • Do you offer commercial pest control services?
Yes, we provide pest control solutions for commercial properties including offices, restaurants, warehouses, and multi-unit buildings. We understand the importance of discretion and compliance in commercial settings.
  • How do I prepare for my pest control service?
We’ll provide specific prep instructions depending on the treatment. In general, you may need to move furniture away from walls, cover food, and secure pets. Your technician will walk you through everything you need.
